Valentine Flame less Candles and A Fix to Those Uneven Candles

This post is two fold.  The first thing I wanted to share with you is how easy it is to quickly update those plain flame less candles that we all love.  I did this back at Halloween with some vinyl spiders (see that here) and I have done it again for Valentine's Day.  I simply added some vinyl hearts that I cut out with my Silhouette Cameo and adhered them to the candles.  That simple and that quick.  If you don't have access to a craft cutting machine, you can easily add ribbon, washi tape or even stickers from the craft store.  After the holiday is over, I can simply remove the vinyl without damaging the candles.

I do LOVE them!  It really added a touch of color for the upcoming Valentine's holiday...but...

When I placed the flame less candles on my existing candlesticks, they were uneven because of the metal prong on the candlestick....and here is Part 2 of my post....Here is how I fixed the problem without damaging the candlestick.  I wanted to leave the prong, because when I do use real candles, I like the security of knowing the candle is secure in there with the prong.  This solution is only for flame less candles.
